== Bavarian == === Etymology === Perhaps originally referring to a Viennese wine tavern by the name of Pillichsdorfer (name derived from Pillichsdorf, a municipality north-east of Vienna in Lower Austria. By folk etymology, the first part of the name then was adapted to the very similar sounding büllich (“cheap”). By surface analysis, büllich +‎ -s- +‎ Duaf +‎ -er.
