Pseudo-Hispanism, derived from English Aramaic, with addition of Spanish -a, from Latin Aramaicus, from Ancient Greek Ἀραμαϊκός (Aramaïkós), itself a calque of Aramaic ܐܪܡܝܐ / אָרָמָיָא (ʾārāmāyā, “Aramaean”).
