Angeren
التعريفات والمعاني
== Dutch ==
=== Etymology ===
First attested as angrina in the beginning of the 9th century. Likely derived from Old Dutch angar (“grassland, pasture”). A proposed derivation from a toponym Proto-Germanic *Anghrinâ, which appears the be the source of Old Norse angr (“narrow bend”), is formally correct but far-fetched. Compare Angerlo.
