ľahostajný
التعريفات والمعاني
== Slovak ==
=== Etymology ===
From ľahko + stoj- (“to stand”) + -ný. The stem -staj- instead of -stoj- is a reflex of Proto-Slavic *stajati. Originally meaning “standing easily” (without effort or problems), it evolved from “carefree” to “not showing concern” or “unobservant” (applied to a person's attitude), and finally to “not worthy of notice” (to the subject).
