== Turkish == === Etymology === Inherited from Ottoman Turkish چكین (çeğin, çiğin, “ridge of the shoulder”), from Proto-Turkic *čekn (“part of shoulder between the neck and shoulderblade”), a word that Clauson links to Proto-Oghuz *čig- (“to knot”).
